For some time I’ve had it on my heart to illustrate Scripture for the purpose of meditation on The Word. I don’t know how long this series will be, or what Scriptures it will include. I only am moved to illustrate those Scriptures that The Lord allows me to visualize. I don’t know what His purpose is for this collection. For all I know, His sole purpose for it, is you.



As in my other works of art, I chose to use the skeletal elements found in Latin American Dia De Los Muertos art. You’ll notice that there is always a source of light, coming from heaven. This is my interpretation of the fact that The Lord is always with us. You’ll also notice that there is also always a dark source. This reflects the fact that evil is always around us and waiting to envelope us, but with The Lord in control, it cannot touch us.
